Privacy Policy – Collection and Use of Personal Information
1. Purpose of Collection
First Barista Academy collects personal information for the following purposes:

To identify users, confirm real-name identity, verify intent to register, and send important notifications required to establish, maintain, or terminate service agreements on our website.

To provide integrated ID services, issue membership cards, manage point accumulation and redemption, operate customer service, prevent misuse or unauthorized access, plan and manage events and marketing campaigns, conduct service development research, and deliver products or materials.

To send promotional materials related to events and services via phone calls, SMS, email, or direct mail (DM).

To carry out various marketing activities (including outsourced promotions) for our services and those of affiliated companies, including event notifications and promotional offers.

2. Information We Collect
Required Information
Name, user ID, password, email address, home address, mailing address, phone number (including mobile), and date of birth

Note: When registering via i-PIN, we collect authentication information from the verification agency instead of your resident registration number.

Optional Information
Consent to receive marketing communications (email/SMS/phone/DM), marital status, anniversary dates, preferred brands, and other optional fields required to provide personalized services

Automatically Collected Information During Use
Service usage history, access logs, cookies, IP address, payment history, suspension records

Note: We do not collect sensitive personal information (e.g., race, religion, political beliefs, criminal records, health, or sexual orientation).

3. Retention and Use Period
In principle, First Barista Academy will delete personal information without delay once the purpose of collection or use has been fulfilled. However, we may retain certain information for a limited period as described below:

Customer service and A/S support: Information may be retained for 30 days following account deactivation.

To prevent misuse of promotional coupons: Coupon usage records (e.g., birthday coupons) may be retained for up to 1 year after account termination.

In case of membership disqualification: Personal information may be retained for 2 years from the date of disqualification to prevent further abuse or harm to other users.

When additional consent is provided: Information may be retained as per the separately agreed terms and duration.

Legal Retention (in accordance with applicable law)
Even after deactivation, some records may be retained for the following periods under applicable laws:

Records related to contracts or withdrawal of offers: 5 years

Records related to payments and product/service delivery: 5 years

Records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years

4. Disposal of Personal Information
When personal information is no longer needed, it is permanently deleted using the following methods:

Printed documents: Destroyed by shredding or incineration

Electronic files: Deleted using secure, non-recoverable methods

5. Use for Marketing and Advertising
